Burundi Shining Star University hosts its first Defense Panel for Research Reports

In a historic moment for Burundi Shining Star University (BSSU), we proudly hosted our inaugural defence panel session for the first students presenting their research reports. This remarkable event took place under the esteemed leadership of the defence panel, which included distinguished academicians: Dr Emmanuel Kwizera, Dr Hatungimana Didace, Mr Kabuga Emmanuel, Mr Denis Niyongere, and Mr Bernadius Rwasa.

Seven students from the School of Business Administration and the Faculty of Social Sciences stood confidently before the panel to defend their in-depth research work. Their presentations culminated in months of dedication, critical thinking, and rigorous academic effort, demonstrating the highest standards of knowledge transformation true to our university’s motto.

This defence panel marks a significant milestone for BSSU as we continue to grow as an institution committed to academic excellence. Going forward, we are excited to announce that we will regularly host defence sessions for research proposals and internship reports, encouraging a culture of scholarly inquiry and practical engagement.
